GRAPHIC RECORDING
Graphic recording is the real-time translation of conversations or presentations into text and pictures. Rio does three things live:
Listens to everything that's being said
Synthesizes themes, connections and key quotes
Documents the conversation using words and images (which is the part you actually see!)
How graphic recording works
Graphic recording includes:
Rio’s expert presence in the room, distilling and illustrating the main ideas and information shared by speakers, facilitators, and participants
Graphics shared as high-resolution PNG files
Bonus 30-second timelapse video of each graphic
Graphic recording in action
Rio works digitally on an iPad. Here’s what that looks like in real life. 👇

Scenes from the before-times
Rio began graphic recording on giant sheets of paper in 2019. She also had much cooler hair back then.
